Scouting provides unique, life-shaping experiences you can’t get anywhere else. It prepares youth to grow into self-reliant, dependable adults and future leaders by combining hands-on fun with the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Through these ideals, Scouts learn to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes.
Cub Scouting is a year-round program designed for youth in kindergarten through fifth grade. It offers fun, age-appropriate adventures that promote character development, citizenship, and physical fitness. Family involvement is essential—parents and caring adults are encouraged to take an active role.
Pack 2 recently joined Scouts BSA Troop 2 and the Downingtown Girl Scouts to bring hundreds of people from across our community together for our first Community Touch-A-Truck at St. Joseph Parish.
Families explored emergency, utility, construction, conservation, and public service vehicles, met the professionals who help keep Chester County running, and experienced hands-on Scouting activities throughout the day.
This is Scouting in action: adventure, service, community, learning, and families having fun together.
