He couldn’t stop talking about the polar plunge, kayaking, shooting BB guns and bows, and especially the fun he had with his fellow scouts. Sleeping in a tent and living the true camp adventure made it an experience he’ll never forget!

I think without a doubt summer camp is the best activity offered during the scouting year. The boys have the opportunity over a period of up to five (5) days to go swimming, hiking, shoot bb guns, archery, slingshot, sports, nature adventures, fire building, and so much more. Also for those thinking of continuing into Scouts BSA, this will expose your scout to the summer camp program similar to what they will attend as a boy scout. Next year, since the boys will be crossing over into Boy Scouts, we will have less time to complete requirements and summer camp will help provide a head start.
