At-a-glance: Two registered adult leaders (21+) at all activities; a registered female adult when girls participate; all overnight adults are registered (Cub exception: a parent/guardian may camp overnight with their own child). Follow the buddy system and Youth Protection policies at all times.

• Family tents OK: A parent/guardian may share a tent with their own child.
• No unrelated adult–youth tenting.
• Youth-with-youth: Within 2 years of age and respect privacy guidelines.
• Adult accommodations: Separate from youth (except family tent); privacy respected.
• Restrooms/showers: Use designated facilities or posted schedules.
• Safety first: Closed-toe shoes only; use the buddy system; leaders must always know where youth are headed.
• Alcohol, drugs, and firearms: Scouting activities are alcohol, marijuana, illegal drug, and personal firearm free. No fireworks. If you smoke/vape, please do so away from youth and out of camp view.
• Electronics: Keep devices put away during program. (OK in the car during travel.)
• Knives: Pocketknife use is by leader approval, in designated areas, and age-appropriate (see Bear Whittling adventure). Unsafe use ends the activity.
• Respect others’ space: Don’t cut through other campsites; keep noise down at quiet hours; leave shared areas tidy for the next group.
• Leave No Trace: Pack it in, pack it out; protect plants and wildlife; stick to trails.

Pro tip: Bring a hanger for the field shirt and a small zip bag for the slide/neckwear.
